Introduction

This is technical information intended for developers and power users. In the introduction some key concepts will be explained. More detailed examples are explained in the inbound and outbound examples.

In order to implement a new interface message, certain elements need to be implemented

  • An enum value defining your interface
  • The staging table data model
  • The type class
  • Processing classes

Messages can either be inbound (i.e. they are being sent to Dynamics) or outbound (i.e. they are sent from dynamics). Outbound messages can be either send directly from the system whenever an event occurs, or events can be queued in order to batch multiple events in to a single outbound message. The following pages describe how to create each of these three message types:
